Lagarith won't play back! please help

Post by pan_dbgt01 » Wed Apr 06, 2011 6:49 pm

Ok my DIVX just updated and now I can't play Lagarith files anymore! Does anyone know what I have to do to play them again?

I uninstalled DivX completely.

I used to be able to play lagarith with MPC-HC, but now I can't. It's not that big a deal though. Lagarith is used mainly as an intermediate codec to keep everything lossless during the editing process. As long as I can play it back with virtualdub, it doesn't really matter to me if I can play it in media players or not since lagarith isn't a release format.

Oh ok. I think I understand now. It is playing back when I render uncompressed at least so I can see the flow of the effects. Thanks for the replies!
