Thats a stupid idea and nothing I said suggests that.

We can leave it here as a tombstone, though! Just leave. The last one turns off the light.

i don't understand why you're being sarcastic...

Let me rephrase for those of you who are clueless about anything I i'm trying to say...
The org's original goal of being a catalog is beyond it's scope. We shouldn't focus on that anymore. The org offers far more to the community and the hobby as a whole then just being a catalog. like free space to upload videos, a large forum with a large user base (not to mention the chatroom), and guides on just about everything related to amvs and their creation. Those are what make up the community here and what keep people here, not the catalog. So i ask, why do we continue to try and make the org all about the catalog?
How does that concern the original post? If adding a youtube forum will help the org break out of that mold, then lets do it. Instead of pushing away other resources that people use, lets use them to our advantage and not use "the catalog" as a reason to hold back.

What attitude? all i've said is exactly what other people were bitching about last year and why we have the org redesign forum.
JaddziaDax wrote:My stance isn't from the "keep the org as the ultimate amv database" idea... My stance is from the idea that kind of forum will just go to support people to continue to "drop link and run" or complain that we don't leave them youtube comments :/ We get enough of that already..
My stance is from trying to get the community here, rather than just leaving us to be a portal for a community else where.
