Love this one Amvs are generally limited to short, simple stories. Ergo, presentation is everything. This amv has a mysterious, dreamy mood that it carries from start to finish. It's interesting how the song lyrics have been twisted into new meanings, and how symbols like smoke and sakura petals are used to denote certain characters. The strongest aspect of the storytelling is the way each event always flows smoothly into the next, so one's train of thought is never interrupted. This is in spite of the fact that the story is not exactly linear, and switches between the points of view of the singer and the girl to whom she is singing. Some very rudimentary knowledge of Tsubasa Chronicle (which is all I personally possess) may be useful, but really, it's more fun if you can rely a bit on your own imagination. ^_~
Watched and opinated alotta powerful amvs last year dealing with storytelling and these were the most powerful to me from the org, I can't decide between the two.
"Someday humankind will come to understand one another! I sincerely believe that!" Fei Fong Wong "We live to make the impossible possible! That is our Focus!" Claire 'Lightning' Farron "Believe in yourself, and create your own destiny. Don't fear failure." Toonami The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way.
