I never realized it was a duck, I thought it more of just a generic bird.
*watches opening again*

Yep, with those feet I guess it is a duck.

"You can sit back and watch it without being hit with a damned flash every few seconds. " ---- grrrrrrrr, I JUST finished this part of this video I've been toying with for awhile, and I JUST got this flash timed right and so it was time to work on the flashes for the three sections coming in........

It's a damn good thing I don't listen to people when they tell me I'm doing it wrong.

Is it wrong to associate dance with art? Can dance not be dramatic or artistic?

I don't think the issue is can dance be artistic, but rather why does the inclusion of a specific type of dance automatically make something more artistic than videos without it?

Ballet doesn't necessarily mean auto art. Had the song and mood been set to a rapping video [with the same scenes and no alterations], and there not been appropriate editing and just footage slapped on a timeline, it wouldn't have had the same artistic impact. The editing, the music, the scenes and everything combined together to make it what it was. That being said, had it used breakdancing music and used something from breakdancing videos, it would still be art, just not the same art you'd associate with this video. There's naturally more than one form of art.

See, I took that whole post of FC's as tongue-in-cheek. Subtle implied sarcasm... was that wrong?

Ah. My apologies then. I have difficulty detecting online sarcasm.

Perhaps you could explain what you mean.
How exactly did you interpret what I wrote?

Well no I agree, but that's because the video would have been poorly made. I mean if it had been a rapping video and put together well would it still be the same kind of "art" you see in this video?

A silent "amirite?" after the "IT IS the Ballet!" basically.
