HOTD should be confirmed anime, and it looks like everything in your profile has local links.

The only other thing I can think of is perhaps you set the premiere date to be in the future

Just wanted to pop in and say THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS GUIDE!

Came back and everything was so different. Still having a few issues since for some reason the program I'm using likes making my files GIANT and I've yet to find a way to get it down to size while making it more viewable than a blur, but hey! I can definitely upload it!

This guide does not match any screen shot of Filezilla!
This is old BS.
I can't do anything! Such a simple thing to try and sign on the ftp server and I can't do it.
Any help would be really appreciated. Leave it to this site to come up with such a bastardized way of uploading an AMV!

If you can get your video to upload then what the hell am I doing wrong for Christ's sake.

I'm looking at the most recent versions of Filezilla, and both the Windows and Mac versions are very close to the screenshots. Are you certain you have the Filezilla Client and not the Filezilla Server?

If you do have the Client, what sort of error message are you seeing? Can you post a screenshot of the interface you are seeing, so we might be able to direct you better?

LantisEscudo and everyone else----
I actually had the correct Filezilla program, but allow me to explain.

First: I must oppologize for my outburst. Totally uncharacteristic of me. I should have waited another day before erupting like a volcano.
Second: Last night I drove 30 miles to a friends house and used his computer. We uploaded everything to the ftp server just fine. We used the link and it worked.
Third: The reason nothing worked for me was that my ISP blocks ALL connections with ANY ftp Server and Client. So now there is something else for everyone to look out for. Why does my ISP do this? I have no idea. Maybe they don't want me hogging-up their service. (Its wireless, and what I mean is I have an antenna on my roof that talks to their server antenna five miles away.)

Today I was able to test my very first AMV and everything looked fine.
Thanks for the help anyway, and enjoy. The next time I have to upload an AMV, I will just have to drive to my friends house.

you need to compress your amv to under 100MB. It shouldn't be hard to do, but if you need help you should browse/ask for help in the compression and encoding section

There are some exceptions to that rule, but large uploads (anything > 100MB) are pretty much reserved for long MEPs.

alright, then try deleting the upload request and making a new upload request for your video.

Not quite sure why that seems to work, but it usually does the trick
