Bones has been ripping Gainax shit for years. Doesn't surprize me in the slightest.

You can't blame BONES for this one, though. This anime's based off of a manga with art by Oota Tamon.

BONES and Stan Lee only did the storyline.

This one is taking me a little longer to appreciate than Eureka SeveN. I knw that it's getting good, but I'm starting to lose interest fast. Yeah, I thought this was gonna be awesome. My priority: Soul Eater :book:
Almost as hard as fighting a Holy Paladin.

Once again,

Anyways, I just finished watching episode 6. 'Was very anxious to watch it, after seeing Will's and Nick's transformation. I was a little disappointed that no fighting ensured between them. But I'm liking this twist: I hope Will stays evil for a big duration of the show.
And after finishing episode 6, I can conclude that Dr Minami totally looks like he could be an evil Scientist in Pokemon: that's all I thought about when I saw him. xD
This show's good: different than I thought it would be, but its still good. I also think that next to Durarara's OST, this anime's OST comes in at a close second for being amazing (out of all of the shows for this season.)

Whew, its been awhile since I've posted in here. =o
Anyways, I found this recently and thought it was quite amusing.

^_^
And onto episode 18, now! I really started to like this show once the Skrugg arc ended (even though with the recent episode its making a quote-on-quote "return" somewhat.)
I miss Dr. Minami. >>

The fff. >: I'm surprised I didn't leave a final comment in here on the ending from me. D:
Eh, I'll just copy one I made on a separate forum. xD

I, for one, cannot WAIT for a hopeful second season of the show. This is mainly because of Dr. Minami. I know a lot of people who hated the guy, but I couldn't quite comprehend their hate for him. I mean I can easily understand the dislike for the guy because he's a villain who wants to take down Heroman with all of his being, but my God, he was my favorite villain in the entire series! (Kogorr's second form later in the series comes in at a close second.)

I thought that Heroman was quite good. I don't see it as heavily shonen or shoujo, but a nice relaxing mixture of both. Its not something I'd watch for an overdose of my shonen fix, but it was nice to watch something that balanced both genres quite well in comparison to other anime nowadays.

The show had very little weakpoints from my view (I thought some concepts/creations were sort of lame... giant metallic-looking destructive spheres, the island Skrugg monster, Skrugg dogs of all things... xD) so that was good. =]

Good show, overall. 8/10 from me.

I think that the creator of the robots will find earth, threaten, then die by one super dynami-kick-ass punch to the gonads. But that's just a theory. I have no evidence to back it up. Oh, that and Risa will admit her love blah, blah, blah, blah, rainbows.

"mirkosp wrote:"Well, we got the Big Bad down for now, but there's still evil in the world." kind of ending + the couple not exactly clearly set up. A non-ending of sorts let's say. Also known as Rumiko Takahashi ending or... BONES ending, which is why I find it somewhat likely.

EkaCoralian wrote:I lol'd. xD I imagine there will be a rainbow at the end as well.
I also agree with mirkosp's ending: it just seems like that sort of anime that would receive that ending to me as well.

I'm also having this annoying buzz at the back of my mind saying that it might end up like The Iron Giant. Joey's giant toy robot will probably either destroy itself, live somewhere else with a race that maybe created it, or it'll return to its toy robot form.

Spoiler :
I love how none of us even considered a second season. xD Good thing, too: it was unexpected. Gosh I can't wait for season 2! And luckily the couple ended up completely apparent. : D Oddly enough, it was Joey instead of Lina who officially said "I love you!" and while there was one kickass punch at some point, the villain died by an epic laser. I'll gladly take lasers over punches. =D
Although no rainbows. *sadface*
