I have a new video online. It's a short video as a final project for my After Effects class. It contains footage that I shot with my own Canon EOS 7D.

Title: Reality Is Less Than TV
Music: 16 Volt - Afterglow // Cyanotic - Static Screens

YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERloOxff_8s
Vimeo:
http://vimeo.com/17864671

I recommend the 1080p YouTube stream. Even if your display isn't 1080p. Vimeo's encoder is nice, but it doesn't please me for this video.

ENJOY! and leave some feedback please =)

After watching the "Warp Re-Edit" of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, I decided to try repairing the transporter effect - and I think I had some success.

Kirk's Arrival:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc7dO8qEvmI
In the Kirk arrival, I improved the alignment and softened one of the edges of the reflection on the rear wall. I also added the blue beam to the last bit when Kirk sort of jerks as he arrives.

Malfunction:
Ahhh, to have an edit button......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtzY-cNi1Eo
I did the alignment, added the flashes on the pads before the beams, made the pads glow before and then fade afterward.

McCoy's Arrival:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kowNdDcMQ8
Alignment correction, also added the glow to the pad.

We're again holding the nonAMV contest: CreaGame 2011. Any self-made video clip based on games can be submitted to the contest. No special restrictions on the game sources are present (3D-shooters, japaness or casual games will do). Clip must contain at least 50% game sources. No registration needed.

1) Deadlines
1) Workshop times: 20 February 2011 – 20 May 2011
2) Submit deadlines: 1 May 2011 – 20 May 2011

2) Rules

2) The clips that have already been created and uploaded to the website cannot be used (means it has to be your new fresh piece of work).
3) You have to choose the type of contest while filling the form for your video.
4) The badge for the video clip has to contain “CreaGame 2011” in it (Badge - picture 200x120 which required during filling form).
5) You have to mention CreaSpace and/or the contest’s name inside the video clip.
6) The video clip cannot be less than 1 minute (not including the titles’ time).

Uploading Process:
1) Create Account

Mr. Happy Face

It's done. It's finally here and you can be sure that I'm damn proud of this project. So I had to make a music video project for my film college. I grabbed my camera (EOS 7D) and basically planned, shot, directed and edited this video all alone with the help of some assistance on the set here and there.

Title: Mr. Happy Face
Footage: Original Live Action
Song: Suffering You
Artist: 16 Volt
Genre: As Sanchez said "its like Postal meets American Psycho" and I think I can agree on that

Watch it on YouTube
Watch it on Vimeo

A video with behind the scenes footage will follow in the next 2 weeks. Too bad that YouTube and Vimeo don't have 50fps playback :dino: You can get the 50fps version here (yes I know that it's a kinda big file...).

Drop some comments and tell me what you think about it. I appreciate it =D
