Well, the only thing that'd keep us from going to the finals would be not being able to finish it in time for the deadline.
But yeah, if we finish in time we'll definately be in the finals
So... see you there! I hope...
Niotex wrote:Sorry felt kind of bland and stale. Didn't capture the feel of the song at all. Not to mention the story portrayed in the video is a mere random collection of literal sync as apposed to a continuation. But that's just my opinion, I could have just missed what you were getting at.

Like I mentioned before, you've made a big improvement during these last few months, and I'm satisfied of the results! Theres no time to celebrate quite yet, theres more work to do :3 trash
Keep it up

Though, it had some moments were it was so so, but still a solid piece.

Personally this is one of the best, if not the best, AMV using Durarara!! I've seen.
Pretty much all I've seen using this anime have been disappointing and while I love the show,
it wasn't one I thought would be editable, so this is a breath of fresh air.
Anyway the video looks great, I like the changes from the one you sent in, mainly around 1:07-1:28.
4/5
Also will be adding to my PSP so I have something to watch when I'm being dragged around for Black Friday shopping

The action was good enough, and liked the clip choice ^^ even tho i haven't yet seen the show (dunno if will...)
Aproved, sensei! ^^
Oh and btw, one of the most awesomes banners i've ever seen! : )

Definitely my favorite DRRR! video at the current time in the universe. The coloring effects were excellent and well executed with meaning and/or necessity. I thought the take on the non-conventional storyline was interesting, and I thought that the movement/pace [for the most part] was well done.
I think some of of the scenes were a bit static for the music at times, but I honestly don't know what could have replaced them. Except for a few episodes/scenes, DRRR! is fairly static and non-action in the first place. You [and most of the AMV population around here] know my feeling about black flashes/fades, so I'll leave it at that. XD Every now and then, I also felt like the atmosphere took a plunge because of a certain scene, but it was few and far between.
Great work. I thought it was a great video that had great effects use and just a few hair-line fractures here and there.

Man, the deadline is december 5, do you still have too much work to finish it?

I actually slightly missread your post anyhow, so no worries about it.
It's not so much "there's much to do", it's just designing the effects and such that's taking some time.

That was a very quick answer![]()
Well I understand you, For an amv I will be finishing by december 20, the effects are the troublesome part.
Returning back to the topic, if the author is joining to Akross con 2010 (Guessing that he will participate as "AuN Studio") wish him luck
