My point is...we shouldn't have too. We need a more efficient way of showing a beta to someone and getting feedback quickly.
Can you rephrase that in a way that doesn't make you sound like an anti-social privileged twat?
But he is an anti-social privileged twat.

Also.

All somewhat decent threads, no replies. I Myself am to blame for this, but. I'm not the type to beta test often, so yeah :P . Just learn how to use the opinions forum or maybe make a beta test sub-forum or another board, so all this unnecessary bitching may end when it'll end just as dead.

They might have gotten replies via PM or YT system - honestly, would you bother looking on it on YT and then switch back to reply when you can write your opinion there?

Then that guitar thingies popped up and went dun dun DUN dun then those box thingies went zooming by and twirling around and shit. Oh god, then the hexagons popped up and I was like 'I just got a stiffie'. Then there was the circle with those thingies going around and I blew my load.

No that's not what I'm saying. Some people don't have time to or don't want to even go in the chat, so it would be much easier to have a subforum for beta testing.
BasharOfTheAges wrote:If people aren't using the means provided already (Opinions sub-forum, #amv-review) why would they start using a new section that's exactly the same thing?
It's not exactly the samething. There are a few stickys on what you should do if you want to post a beta in the opinions subforum, not an actual subforum where you can post betas. The whole point is to promote interaction between editors.

Benefits from the Beta Test Subforum:
1. Helps editors to make better videos
2. Better videos on the announcements
3. Increased interaction between editors

The only possible downside would be that it isn't active, and if that's the case it can be closed easily.

If they have enough time to make an amv, they can take some time to go to the chatroom and ask for help. Why wouldn't they want to go to the chatroom?

My opinion on a beta-test subforum is that only a small number of people will ever use it and even more likely, no one will actually watch the videos and comment on them.

true, we really dont need to add new things, what the org needs is people to start using what it already has.

It's right there. It's THAT FORUM! I don't understand the problem. Why would it matter if there was another sub-forum? People aren't using what they have already.

I find nothing wrong with this. They are the same forum already after all.
