Re: Vegas rendering time increasing
Next to the template there's a button that says Custom.
Then in the drop down menu for Video Format it should be selected as huffyuv.[or whatever lossless codec you're rendering out as]

Re: Vegas rendering time increasing
Just tried rendering again. Stopped at 89% at about 4 minutes, with 0:00 left, and Vegas popped up with an error, stating it had something to do with:
"Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\Temp\WER811F.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\Temp\WERC35D.tmp.appcompat.txt
C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\Temp\WERCD7C.tmp.mdmp"
and for more assistance, here is my setup, and an screen of what happens.

Sometimes, it goes to the end, sometimes, it just stays there, racking up the time, no matter how I render it.
@Aimo: Thank you very much, I got it. Just making the rendering issue worse if anything though. =/

Re: Vegas rendering time increasing
Tried reading those files? My guess is that there would e some application with bad compatibility installed either into Vegas (som plugin) or just on the PC (appcompat.txt)L'arc~en~ciel wrote:Just tried rendering again. Well, this is the second computer I am on trying this, and my first computer was with Vegas 6.0, so I even have a newer version, and the issue still occurs. It really is beyond me. I dunno though. I will take a look if I can.

This video seems to work for a temp fix for me, so I am very happy of it. I just wish I didn't have to go out of the way to do it, but atleast I can make videos again.

Re: Vegas rendering time increasing
It just isn't meant to be. Now, I cannot save 30 second videos without vegas crashing, telling me I have low memory on this new computer, but I see it taking up 1,500,000k memory trying to save a video, and it is yelling at me, that that isn't enough. I got 4GB to this harddrive, and it keeps crashing on me.... I am about to toss the program and just try a different one. Vegas seems to be nothing short from hell in a handbasket right now. It is like it is trying to come up with any ways possible to prevent this video from happening, and to be honest, it is going to win the fight, because it crashes too too too too too frequently for me. I don't get what the hell is wrong here.

Just being curious, but you're not using Windows Vista, right? |:

Re: Vegas rendering time increasing
Reinstalling the program as a whole did it. All my lag is gone, my rendering for a 30 second video went from 1h30m to 5 min, and I haven't crashed yet, which WAS happening once every 10 or so minutes before I reinstalled it, and little to no lag now. I just MIGHT be good now.
