Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike takes place before the events in Tales of Vesperia the video game. It will show Yuri Lowell's time as an Imperial Knight before all the events in the original game. Many characters from the game will also be returning such as Flynn Scifo, Repede when he was a puppy, Rita Mordio, Estellise Sidos Heurassein and Raven.

BD has been out for a while (seems to be actual 1080p, although not much detailed), so looking forward to checking it out. |:>

Ever seen the anime 'Tales of the Abyss'? Is the animation in this movie as good as it?

Just watch it for yourself. The animation is just as good as the other animated Tales, imo.

But yeah, as for the movie, I loved it. Vesperia is one of my favorite out of the Tales games/anime. It served it's purpose as a prequel while still being very entertaining.
It was cool seeing Yuri as an Imperial Knight and seeing everyone before the events of the game. Oh, and I actually choked up at a couple scenes. :(
But yeh, pretty good stuff. Ordered the BD awhile ago, still haven't gotten it.

MUST WATCH. *adores Vesperia* Hopefully it explains why Rita is so awesomely broken. *doubts it*

You know you're an addict when you can make massive profit off of gambling at the "School". That and you have every title.
...Yeah, I know she's a trap.
