Looking for Android Programer

Postby Quu » Tue Aug 17, 2010 2:45 pm

I have allot on my plate, and seeing if there is someone who could write an Android program for me. Resulting source would be required. I prefer public domain for code releases, but any permissive open source license would be acceptable.

Need to be able to use/compare images via the camera, and to detect tones with the mic in real time. I don't know how to do this (yet), but I am told it would involve averaging an image, and FFT on the audio.

I want an app that when I point the phone at the screen at a convention, and play a special test video, it can tell me how much the audio and video is out of sync by so I can compensate. The idea is a video that shows green and then red, alternating every 5 seconds, and plays two tones, with the tone change being exactly when the color changes.

given time, I am pretty sure I could code this my self, but time is something I have in short supply.

this is a long term project, not something immediate. I am trying to build a way to test and tune the A/V sync for convention.
Lead me not to temptation, for I have deadlines
