I just noticed that the anime that I used (Kyouran Kazoku Nikki) isn't listed on the AMV Salad 4 page. Kyou Kara Maou! is there, but I don't think that anyone used that series. And apparently, there isn't a single Kyouran Kazoku Nikki AMV on the org. How do you request a series to be added again? I forgot.

The English title you gave me (Crazed Family Diary) for that one is listed so that's the one I used. ;)
But if you wanna add the original title, go to where you would look up anime titles and find the "new anime" option on the page. That should allow you to add it but I think they look into each title requested (as you'll see by all the "strikethroughs").

Deuce, not to be mean, but would you be okay changing the description for AMVS4 to something more from our perspective? I know we heard people say really great things, but it makes me uncomfortable speaking for other people about how good we are, like a magazine critic talking about a movie. How about we just tell everyone how much fun we had and how we think it's our best Salad yet and welcome everyone to enjoy it with their friends or something? It just strikes me as arrogant to call AMVS4 a hard act to follow as well, because that judges us in comparison to the others, and they don't really deserve to be told 'you're not as good as we are' in that type of way.

Basically, we know we did a good job. We should never have to 'challenge' people to laugh at our work, otherwise it will have a detrimental effect and we'll have people reading that going "Okay, fine, make me laugh" and sit there trying not to.

Edit: Oh! I forgot! I hadn't heard your censoring of the One Piece clip before that night. You did a great job, that sound was perfect, and you retained the beginning and the end of the word as well! Sadly, as I was afraid of, very few people could hear the Marines, but it didn't seem to matter that much. I couldn't even tell how it was censored.

Oh I see. I wasn't looking for the English title, so I completely missed it. The English title is fine.

Did anyone else see the Gundam parody? You mentioned you'd seen it, moonbunnychan. I think that one got a bad rap because it was on so late, I would have liked to see that one with a full room. It actuallydid something really risky that actually reversed itself! It did that 'what is this now, the 13th time she's been kidnapped?' 'yeah, they really aughta get her some bodyguards or something' like a dozen times. I was amazed, because it actually went full circle. It was sort of amusing the first time, funny the second and third, after that for three more times you're like 'we get it,' then after that it somehow got funny again. I described it to my friends as the Family Guy moment where peter trips and hurts his leg.

Either way, I liked that one quite a bit. Slow parts did exist as usual, but I'd have to say that one's pretty close to Otakudom for me. Only reason Otakudom is on another level, besides it being a classic, is because it utilized the setting so creatively.

Ya I watched the Gundam one on...I think it was Friday night. I'd love to be able to find it again though, the sound was so bad I could barely understand a word. And despite being funny it was getting kind of...long.

And to answer your other question I did the hypnotoad. The only Geico bit that wasn't me was the Tenchi egg one (although I WISH that I could say that was mine as it was absolutely brilliant XD)

I know you turned something in but I'm thinking it either was eaten by the hard drive meltdown after the second beta or it didn't make the final cut for some reason. Which clip did you submit? I'll look into it.
