To finish a particular video, I seriously gave up a month of my life. I'd wake up, go to work, come home for lunch (edit for an hour), go back to work, come home, eat dinner (edit for 6 more hours) go to bed, get up, go to work........ And the weekends were for getting chores done/buying groceries, but the rest of them and deep into the night were spent working on the video. Yep.

Before I lay awake at night to finish my AMVs... that was not suffering for me, but that was annoying, well... Now I feel more relaxed about the edition! :awesome:

I physically became ill trying to finish editing Twilight. Missed New Years' Eve party and hanging out with people because of it. It was sad... cause I didn't even finish in time. |:

I dont suffer for my Art. I art when I suffer. Basically, any video I've been working on this year was when I couldnt sleep or was under a lot of stress.

All other years? I was just pretty chill when making videos  Except for tourney videos. I lose sleep trying to edit for most of the time allotted in a 48 hour tourney or IC thing, but i've stopped doing those.

Being as awesome as I am, I can't think of any times i actually "suffered" other than the switch from amvtube editing principles to Org editing principles. It hurt to think that the videos that were so popular on my channel, so successful, so highly acclaimed were utter shit (except a couple)

But after that i just continued being awesome and here i am. I'm anticipating a little bit of suffering as i try to make an FX heavy video in a program i know nothing about.

I'm editing a segment for a dedication to this guy... Now THAT is suffering. :awesome:
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

I'm very much the same way, though it comes out in weird ways. These are usually the times when I work on electronics or sculpture for whatever reason.

My current audio source give me a migraine from listening to it. The only saving grace here is that my system isn't letting me install adobe CS products on it at the moment, so i'm safe. The 18 attempts at installing CS3/4/5 last weekend made me rage quite hard and waste my entire weekend though. =|

Hmm... health concerns... Bluetrain just last week had to go to the hospital. He was rushing to get his AVCon video in at the last minute when he went through fits of vomiting and was told that his blood pressure has dropped dramatically... he blames the chocolate he ate... we say it was the energy drink he was using to keep himself awake the rest of the night XD
