Alright, so basically I'm going to be starting this mep within a week or 2. I figured I'd stir up some interest by giving you guys a general idea of what I'm going to do. This is sort of going to run similar to The Improv Project in terms of execution. We will fill the tracks up, and when we've either filled the list or got an editor for the first 3 tracks or so, we'll put the system into motion. It's pretty much going to run with a laddar system, only without passing on audio segments. I'll create the mix this week, and we'll give each person 1 week to work on their tracks starting with track 1. When the editor of track 1 finishes his track, editor 2 will start his/her track and have one week to edit, and so on and so fourth. I wanted to have a good balance of time, enough to keep you in gear but also enough time to make something truly awesome. That's pretty much how this'll go down.
As for the music, I'll be using the album "All The Cullahs Of The Rainbow" by MC Cullah. This isn't really hiphop so don't let the artist name turn you away. A sample track will be available for download at the end of this post to give you an idea of what some of the music will be like. It has quite a bit of variety so I think it's a great choice of music to use here. More so, the music is all in a similar style but still individual enough to sound more varied than your usual mep. I really want to create something with a lot of style to it, a reflection of sorts. (Zing)
