Composition modes, help!

Post by arjemma » Thu Jul 01, 2010 8:12 am

How does the compostition mode work exactly?
I thought it was like Photoshop, with blending modes but I was wrong.
When I have a track above another and put it on burn for example. The whole video on the other track beneath it gets "burn" too. Even if the track above it is empty in that particular spot. Any ideas?
If you want me to show screencaps if you don't understand what I mean I will gladly do so :)

Basically, if you want to have a spot in the video in the lower track that is not "burnt", you have to place a spot of white (or black - I don't play with this much, but one of those will work) on the compositing parent layer
Pleased to help ;x
