My votes. Refer to this for who is who.

Note: Vid 13 was rated based on the normal version. If I rated it based on the Mirko Version, it'd either been a 0/5 or a 6/5, I'm not sure.

I decided to limit myself to 3 awards per round. I'd generally see which 3 vids I liked the most/topped my scores and award something appropriate, but I totally had to give best troll to tari...

Before I saw the scores, I thought the PEBKAC award meant my video was awful...

I didn't use the spreadsheet, since this comp has neither program, I just re-typed it all out in Notepad and then copy+Pasted it into PMs for code >_>

edit: Looking at the scores it looks Like I may have been the one that saved MCHY's ass.

I just used OpenOffice.org's Calc 'cause I was too lazy to manually do the math.

______________

|:> |:> |:> The Premise |:> |:> |:>

Aren't parties just the best? People and friends who actually can tolerate you for longer than an hour? But most importantly... BIRTHDAY PARTIES! It's the day that is the best tribute to you and your life!

______________

|:> |:> |:> Premise Meaning |:> |:> |:>

In the real world of editing, it's often that big celebrities [such as Michael Jackson] has tribute videos made and edited before their deaths, so they can decide how they best wish to be remembered. Similarly, it's important as an editor to know how to step out of YOUR own comfort circle and be capable of changing your editing style [at times] to please your audience [which may or may not result in massive profits].

______________

|:> |:> |:> The Round |:> |:> |:>

Being able to properly tribute somebody is an important thing in editing, both in AMV's and in real life. At the same time, you need to be able to step out of your comfort zone and try different styles to better your overall editing portfolio. Meanwhile, this is Project Neoeditor, so throwing a wrench in things is just part of the life!

For this round, create an AMV tribute to your assigned Project Editor competitor. You are to contact your "tribute" and learn everything about them and create an AMV that best describes them as a person. You can tribute one facet of their persona, but it is UP TO THEM what they want tributed about themselves. While you are free to pick your video and audio, it is important to keep it into a genre that they want/like.

Judging Criteria for Execution of Theme
40 Points for "Matching The Person's Tribute Request"
10 Points for if the editor liked their tribute [YOU GUYS WILL BE JUDGING THESE POINTS]

______________

|:> |:> |:> Special Round Related Rules |:> |:> |:>

1) You are permitted to change ONE anime on your 7 sources list for this round, just in case your sources do not match your target's liked genre.
2) If you change one of your 7 sources, it will stay on your sources list until a later round when you are permitted to change them again.
3) The filename of your video should be "Dedicated to __________"
4) You may speak with your targets through pm or main thread, but please pm me the form below this list that can be sent to the judges for their 40 point evaluation.
5) Because I know you're dying to know, Animaniacs [as I posted in my journal and in the thread several times] is something i would love to see as a tribute to me. That was regarding the hint.

What are things you'd HATE to see in your Tribute?:
