Besides Super Site Mods, would it be possible to set the forums up in such a way that whoever creates a thread can also moderate it(basically delete posts)?Or would that be a strain on the server(s)?Then again, serving up some threads could be an even bigger strain(<a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... 15">*cough* this one comes to mind.System choking ahoy!</a>)
Anyhow,just a thought,if it's possible.

I don't think that would be a great idea. Some people would misuse it and (assuming this person is biased or something like that) delete a post that contradicts what they are saying just for the hell of it. But then... it could be useful too. Basically, only totally impartial people are suitable for any kind of Moderator rights.

Yeah, that's not a good idea. It gives just about anyone too much power over threads and they could delete posts that they just plain disagree with or edit them at will. If you have a problem with a thread you should take it up with a mod, although they are still invisible currently.
