Asphyx - Death...The Brutal Way

Met them at mdf, bought the cd and got autographs. Would have gotten the new The Rack vinyl if I had a record player.

The other cd is some 2-disc soundtrack sampler they gave me for a movie coming out called After Party Massacre. It features music from them, Incantation and other cool bands.

Met Gorguts too but didn't get autographs...oh well

After seeing both these artists live last month...

Image
Porcupine Tree - The Incident (DVD-A surround edition)

Porcupine Tree - Anesthetize (DVD)

Image
Stick Men - Soup (CD, signed)

And also by digital download:

Live recording of the concert I went to - and yep, I'm on that 'cover'.

Otherwise, never forgetting to add to my collection of Fripp soundscapes... two new ones:

Robert Fripp - The Big Chill (Aug 7, 2005 - Eastnor UK); Jaani Kirik (Aug 26, 2006 - Tartu Estonia)

And further Crim-related goodness in...

The last one I bought was Dig Out Your Soul - Oasis. I bought it because I had bought 3 metal albums earlier in the day and I felt like I needed to buy something softer to complete my music shopping. It turned out to be a great album and my favorite song on it is Waiting for the Rapture.

All in all 24€ (about 30$)

and those were just the best 3, the record store that i get all these from had the pretty rare original Sacco & Vanzetti Joan Baez LP and Morbid Angel's "Formulas Fatal to the Flesh". But I didn't have enough money to get those too. Also I just got back into Unleashed and they have like 2 of their albums on vinyl so I'd also like to get those as well oh god i am losing too much money over this.

Porcupine Tree - Atlanta (mp3)

And to continue with the Porcupine Tree albumspam - this one is for a good cause. Bassist Mick Karn who had worked with many, many musicians over the years (including Porcupine Tree's Richard Barbieri and another top favourite of mine David Sylvian) was recently diagnosed with advanced stages of cancer.

This one was originally due to stay in the vault as it covers much of the same material available on Anesthetize DVD, but was put up for download to help Mick.
From the album description...
Please note that all Porcupine Tree's profits from the sale of the Atlanta download will go directly to the Mick Karn Appeal. Burning Shed's profits will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Porcupine Tree's and Mick's fans should take note.
