Reminds me of when I saw a flyer they distributed in England when "Wayne's World" came out to clarify what all the catch phrases meant. They translated "and maybe monkeys might fly out of my butt" as, "the chances of that happening are equivalent to monkeys suddenly emerging from my posterior."

That's hilarious. I would've loved to have seen one of those.

And now that I've had a chance to see it again, the actual definition is, "The chances of something like that happening are less than if primates were to soar from my backside."

And here's a bonus. "He shoots, he scores!" translates into, "He is victorious. He is successful."

I have to say that's pretty sweet.

Everyone check the front page - FINALIST LIST IS UP!!!

Just sayin'...getting these things evaluated, voted on, and organized was nothing short of an ordeal this year. It was a mess we have vowed to make sure doesn't repeat itself next year.

Seriously...we're rushing like headless chickens making sure we have everything in order to create the best flow possible for the most entertaining experience we can offer. After all, it is YOU who created this contest. ;)

And don't forget to stick around Sunday morning for Battle of the Greats - the winning videos from 2007-2009 duke it out for supremacy in the AMV arena and your votes decide the winner in the ultimate showdown! Come to the AMV Award Show afterward to find out which editors will take home the prize when the dust settles.

Thanks to all who entered and made this another difficult year to decide finalists...

WHOO!! *Happy dance* This is the first year I've submitted anything to a convention and am so happy to see not only one but two were liked enough to get through! I can't wait. Now I'm finally settling down from my excitement and going to bed. See you all Friday afternoon!!!!
