Mark of Death AMV Beta OP for OP

Postby ranmox » Fri Jun 04, 2010 9:19 pm

Just got a full length beta done on my newest video. I plan to add more scene switches and effects before the final release so take that into consideration. :P
I'll OP a video of yours after getting an OP from you on my beta.
Thanks in advance.

well, that's where the good pretty much ends. the masks were weird (3d sources like this don't usually do well with stationary masks from my experience)
and the action, the fights, just kind of seem pasted on without any cuts or sync or anything, which made it uber slow and boring. and the random squiggly mask was just weird.
Didn't feel like you tried very much, except there were masks that actually looked decent so i'm guessing you spent a while on those xD

just pick something from my catalogue, or don't, your call.

It wasn't synced to the music itself it was synced to the rhythm of the lyrics the music's tempo was rather high to sync to there would be too much going on, too much to keep up with, it would have been changing scene every fraction of a second two or three frames at most, which wouldn't make a very good amv. I OPed one of your AMVs as well. Just kinda picked one at random. :P

The masks themselves weren't squiggly themselves it was an effect I added to them at a later point and I only did that at one point.....which I removed in the next beta because indeed it did look strange. lol
