"an exception has occured."

Post by GH » Sun May 30, 2010 12:02 pm

well this sucks.

i've been working on an amv over the course of a few weeks and it's been looking pretty nice, potentially the best editing i've ever done. i've been several hours into it. then today i try to open it and all of a sudden!

"An error occurred during the current operation."
"An exception has occurred."

and then vegas crashes. :x

also, just for the record;

i've tried running a system restore back to the last date i was able to edit at.
i tried doing the "ctrl+shift+w" trick that i seen in a youtube "solution".
i downloaded the trial of sony vegas 8 and tried to open the project file through that, same error.
i've tried moving the episodes of soul eater from one directory to another, no help.

might as well bump this just in case anyone that knows a solution comes across. so desperate to recover the file but i don't really see it happening, i suppose.

Yeah, I think there must be a corrupted file in your project. The same thing happens to me when I import a certain file which Vegas doesn't like xD
