It's just been one thing about Apple that I dislike after another.
It started with some of their iPhone app store policies a few years back and it's slowly snowballed from there.
The only reason I bought the mac I have now is because I like the look/feel of OS X and flyakite XP (a mod/hack for WinXP to make it look like OS X) didn't play nice with my system.

Whatever floats your boat. No pun intended.

I don't consider Apple any better or worse than any other tech company. I only know that I don't lose data or reinstall every six months. I am completely uninterested in finding out what part I may have played in it myself, I only care that it doesn't happen on Macs. I'm not a "tinker with it until I find the problem and feel a sense of accomplishment person" I am a "I just want to edit a video and couldn't care less about what is going on in the background" person. Because aside from IRC, surfing, and media consumption, that is all I do, and all I care to do. Apple delivers this experience. No one else I've tried does.

Mac does deliver that.
However if you're running Windows through Boot camp, if I remember correctly you have all the same vulnerabilities as a normal Windows system.
So that seems kind of counter-productive.
