i was very productive last night and got most of my beta put together. i probably would have had it complete if the disney ponyo dvd wasn't such a bitch to rip. i was able to rip all but the first 20 minutes or so and i have some crucial scenes in there i need.

so now my task is to either update all my ripping programs, or find a new one that'll work.

I've never had problem with DVDFab. What program are you using now?

i tried dvdfab, dvdecrypter, rip-it4me, and dvd shrink. dvdecrypter did the best and let me get most of the movie. the others either failed or crashed.

but i'm gonna search for some updates right now... hopefully that's all i'll need.
