Hmm...
How about "Paradoxols". Just remember what it would sound like if it was said with the Nihongo accent. "Kurakku Uierudaasu" sounds...uh...![]()
"Paradakusoru" shounds pretty kuu.

Your right. Clockwork Wielders does sound wierd, however I am not fussed about the name at the moment and if you were being serious about your suggestion, why "Paradoxols".

Sorry. I thought katakana was where a symbol would represent a term like 'literature'. If that is incorrect than forgive me.

Katakana is used mostly for foreign words, so that Japanese people can approximate their pronunciation. There is no reason why a native English speaker should use katakana pronunciation with other English speakers. That's just silly.
Katakana may also be used for emphasis, such as my above DAIKIRAI (or hate/strongly dislike), or for onomatopoeia, especially in manga or novels.
ZephyrStar wrote:Yeah, just a word on using Japanese names and whatnot. My "Akaishirai" is a bastardization all to hell. That's why it's still a working title. The actual name of the thing will probably not be Japanese at all, or more likely based on simple Japanese place names. While it does take place in Japan, that is not really noted during the story itself, it's just sort of implied, through visual style, architecture, etc. I also will be adding a decent amount of reference to the Appalachian mountain area, as that's where I grew up and there are paralells I can draw to enhance the idea that this is a unique production.
I would suggest "Wielders of the Clockwork" or "Wielders of the Clockwork Something".... the other way around sounds kinda awkward. You can also name something with a metaphor, at times that's super effective as a title. Your title doesn't have to directly relate to what's going on, where it's going on, etc.
