Based on that, I think you may enjoy:
Code Geass
Speed Grapher
Gungrave
Elfen Lied

Also worth mentioning:
Clannad (and Clannad: After Story)
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Gundam 00
Gurren Lagann
Ef- A Tale of Memories

Eureka Seven

Don't hate me, that anime was the best story I've seen yet...

...yet
Almost as hard as fighting a Holy Paladin.

Try Clannad After Story or Ef - A tale of memories
Both series' stories grabbed me in a way Eureka Seven could never
(take that any way you want :ying:)

Though Clannad was indeed amazing, I still love Eureka Seven's story more: it contained more description and a deep plot than Clannad did, in my opinion (but then again, Clannad didn't really need a deep plot.) Its best not to compare them, though. 'Since they're of different genres.

If you liked Hellsing and Death Note, you should probably check out Code Geass (if you're ok with giant mechas.)
I'm also with Tek on his recommendation of Eureka seveN: its a bit romance-heavy, but its a wonderful anime.

Are you lumping Clannad and Clannad: After Story into there, or are you just talking about Clannad?
As much as I like Clannad, if you haven't seen After Story you're missing out on the best part.
At any rate, if you liked Eureka Seven you should check Clannad out.

also, I mentioned code geass in my first post

Might like Noir or Madlax which can be fairly serious, and people do get killed in it. 26 eps in both with real plots.
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

No I meant Clannad and Clannad: After Story together. As I said, the series didn't need that much depth to it (besides the other worlds and the wishing part of it), and when you look at Eureka SeveN's plot, it had an unbelievable amount of depth: so much was explained over around the same course of episodes that Clannad & After Story had (if put together.) I'm just saying that more happened in E7 because it needed to happen, is all. ^^;;
And I'm well aware. It never hurts to see two recommendations for the same anime, now does it?

Oh, BTW, I never heard of Clannad before, but it seems interesting; good art, typical High School story.

Not my brand of tea, though.
