Awesome, my amv won both "Best in Show" and "Best Concept" in the same contest. 'm gonna make more of this, or something related to that matter.

As decent as the execution was, I speak for many when I say please, don't.plankster wrote:Awesome, my amv won both "Best in Show" and "Best Concept" in the same contest. 'm gonna make more of this, or something related to that matter.
If all you do is make the exact same type of video over and over again (especially in sequel form), you just start to look like a one-trick pony. And a douchebag, but mostly a one-trick pony. Same thing happened to the guy who made Channel Surfing.

As scathing as dokool's reply was, he's right.

BEST OTHER! It felt so surreal when I found out! I'm still in shock a bit actually. Thank yoooouuuu!
I got some pretty bad news Sunday morning and I was upset and almost didn't attend the AMV Winners Panel but I'm really glad I went! It was a pleasure meeting you all in person. ^_^
The bad news means that I will not be able to convert and upload my video for... I'm not sure how long, maybe a couple of weeks. I'm stuck in Massachusetts for the time being and before I left for the hotel last Thursday my computer was giving me issues when I tried to view any media in fullscreen so that might take a few days to figure out too. I'll get it uploaded as soon as I can.
It was my dream to win an award at Anime Boston since I first attended the AMV contest there back in 2006 (it's what got me into making AMVs!) and thanks to the people who enjoyed my AMV at the contest and to the people who helped put it the contest together, I finally accomplished that. When I get back home, I'm anxious to download all the videos from this year.
