Food from around the world

Postby GorDon » Wed Mar 24, 2010 8:47 pm

I would love to share my meal with all of you. I will try to post here specifically pics of food from our national cuisine. :D
And I would be delighted if you post something to. :)

OK here is my yesterday's dinner.

And Today's lunch.

Dinner was realy simple. Just two boiled potatos and curd plus Spring Salad.

Lunch was pork with sauerkraut and potato dumplings.

Poutine. Fries with cheese curds on top, smothered in gravy. I eat it all day, everyday. The true food of the gods. :amv:

I win. :P

I'd like poutine a lot more if the cheese were actually melted.

Its funny how I immediately recognize east Europe from the food on the plate. Making Taco's myself tonight so nothing special there I'm afraid.

Slavic :P

I grew up on Russian food and I gotta say, there's a lot of similarity in these to Russian food.

...eating some rather similar potatoes myself now.
