Origin: Spirits of the Past opens with a crazy plant-dragon-thing flying out of the moon and soaring towards Earth. And IIRC there also are some simple shots that just have the planet, if that's what you're looking for.

your biggest source would be the various Gundam series that are out there.

Don't the Gundams usually have some kind of construct floating in space around the Earth though? It sounds like Onibakun is seeking a clean, wholesome Earth.

The mini series of Master Mosquiton include some space Earth view....
And I haven't seen it, but possibly Planetes has some scenes as well? I saw some screenshots....

Eureka Seven (Realistic future Earth).
Not too industrialized and has really good scenic shots of the sunset and valleys. There are even scenes from space. A lot of people drive and look out their windows (of their mechs) and stare at the sky or stare at the earth from the sky.
Almost as hard as fighting a Holy Paladin.

Digimon Adventure/Season 1, ep 1's opening scene is a zoom of the earth.

I'm relatively sure Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai has a simular scene as well.

Both scenes are shots from space, Im not quite sure if that's what you are looking for or not.

Gunbuster and Gunbuster 2 might have some usable scenes.

Tokyo Mew Mew. Sure it's a magical girl anime, but in the OP and the first and last episodes it's got some nice scenes of the Earth.
