If you kept up with my work, you would have discovered that I got pretty famous for using a shitload of stobing effects (Debuted in the Faces of Death AMV) :P

Feh, watch Hrash Reality sometime. It has Teh Uber StrobeTM.
"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

Nice paper Bishounen Stalker, reminds me of this fall when I wrote about making AMVs in one of my college application essays.

There is no WAY they accepted you on that. If they knew that half of your life was consumed by producing useless art, they would KNOW you won't do any studying!

Great paper overall! I just have one question...

BishounenStalker wrote:In essence, Daft Punk created the first truly professional AMVs.

Were the Daft Punk videos before or after Miyazaki's "On Your Mark"?

Good question

I looked and couldn't really find a date. The reason I decided to use the DP vids as the example was because chances are my prof would've heard of them before The Great Mr. M. But I probably should've dragged Miyazaki in anyway.
