Professional Video Encoder -NOT- for Editing

Post by [Mike of the Desert] » Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:42 am

When it comes to video stuff, I usually run away from the universal rule "Google it", so.. Guys, I'm asking for an advice. :)

What is, in your opinion, the Best and most Professional Video Encoder (for converting any extension to any other) out there?
I actually don't mind to Buy it, if it does work well.

I don't need it for editing, but for playback issues, since I usually work with Mov files and well.. They are a Bitch for common things like Ps3 Consoles and stuff. I just don't want to use a sad free converted, quality and stuff is something I really care of.

Any idea?

Avisynth + VirtualDub. Both are free and you can basically convert anything with them.
