Re: Evangelion
Anno is gonna get even more death threat's if he does some shit like what he did with the series again.

Re: Evangelion
Old news. Discussed already etc.
This picture has been floating around for over a year already.
At this point I'm just peeved that each one is taking so long. Two years between each movie release is more than I can take. By the time the last movie comes out, I'll be in grad school, and the free time to watch anime will be a distant memory.

Re: Evangelion
I don't see why this is so surprising; there were lots of things about the first Rebuild that strongly hinted (especially in dialogue, which that screenshot above partially shows) that something a little fishy is going on. The idea of the world being cyclical and all...heck, it's [not really, but suspect] that there's a bit of RE:TAKE in there. Especially the 'two different Asukas' idea. They'd never openly admit that, though.
I think most that had watched the original simply approach Rebuild not as a retelling of the original, but as a totally alternate universe (without the lolwut? factor of the other spinoffs/AUs); whether it ties itself back to EoE is just icing on the cake.

RE:TAKE was awesome, they would be crazy not to steal the idea.Qyot27 wrote:I don't see why this is so surprising; there were lots of things about the first Rebuild that strongly hinted (especially in dialogue, which that screenshot above partially shows) that something a little fishy is going on.
