I don't think the anime I have will interest my Dad at all. I know he likes explosions and gun fights, but I can't really show him an anime that has an excessive amount of gore in it, otherwise he'll start questioning what I'm watching. xD; He doesn't like outlandish plots, so Eureka seveN is out of the question.
Trigun might work, but it might be too much comedy. Eeergh, my Dad is so picky. >> Anyone have any suggestions?

I had to explain the animation, what Azumanga Daioh was and was about, what Yotsuba was and that the two works were by the same author. My dad got all red faced and was apparently embarrased to be watching it. He said he liked it and that it was "pretty silly." Mom thought it was cute and that "I certainly like the ladies."

Big O!! lol my mom would be amiss without Miyazaki. She discovered it before I did! But it's the only anime she'd watch. She's just a Disney fan and Miyazaki is Walt Disney to the Japanese so she relates (and Disney introduced it to her by localizing Mononoke, Spirited Away and all...). I can only see bad things coming out of this :/
