Everybody who is interested in using Twixtor should have a look into this gallery. Especially the first example is impressive. The website says it was recorded in free form. I guess they mean regular 25fps or something.

A usual NLE will just display frames for a longer time or frame blend them. Twixtor uses motion detection and doesn't only frame blend. For us it's interesting because this MEP is in 60fps. You probably don't have natural 60fps to work with.
