Error installing Vegas 9.0

Error installing Vegas 9.0

Everytime I TRY to install Vegas 9.0, the installation fails for some reason or another. I keep getting this error:

"Requirements not met. Press OK to Exit Install."

I get redirected to this error from this: "Please wait while setup configures the components. This might take several minutes.", which, looks like it is installing Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0....not sure if that is truly it though. Anyone know for sure?

Seems like your PC doesn't have specs high enough to meet the minimum requirements for the program too ram. Update the system's cpu/ram/whatever needed or get a new pc altogether, that's about all you can do, I guess.

Really? No other way? I cannot afford a new computer. ><

Well, technically you could buy an older version of vegas instead...

Well, 6.0 was working for me before, but now, ever since I restored my computer, it seems my activation code thing has to be re-put in. I do it, it doesn't accept. Eh.....a friend has 7.0.....might as well try that.

They all work basically the same. The only reason I moved up to 7 was because I got a new comp, otherwise I'd prolly still be using 5.0

Make sure you have all the latest updates and patches for your operating system. If you still get an error download and run this .NET 3.5 SP1. After installing that, run updates again to make sure .NET is fully up to date. This is all assuming it's a .NET related issue though. If you are running Vista or Win 7, try running the installer as admin.
