When the first project editor was created, I flatly said that I think this should be in the contests forum. That this was indeed, a contest. I made the point of asking several times.

Every time, I was explicitly told that no, in no way shape or form was this a "contest", but just a mep with challenging requirements unique to every round. I was told that the process of eliminating was the gimmick, not the body.

We can debate whether this was, or should have been a contest in the first place (probably), but in no way whatsoever is this a case of misinterpretation. PE has always been a mep, This is simply a matter of changing its core being midway through. nothing more, nothing less. Don't try to imply this was all some wacky mix-up.

You're entitled to your opinions and whatever rage you want towards me, but please don't be a prick about it.

I'd like to know how you interpret being pissed about having a giant middle finger given to the patient and quiet competitors without warning as prick-ness.

I'm not really even raging anymore, and that wasn't an opinion. It was a fact, Mirko said this was a problem of misinterpretation, it is not (if someone claims it is, then I'll probably rage)

Heck, I fully intend to stay in the Competition, probably for PE 3 and 4 too. I was mearly stating a fact, because viewing this for what it is not would be wrong, and would make it too easy to marginalize the opinions of people who have genuine grievances.

Sigh. I'd like to say this is a sad pm for me, but it's not.

Project Editor has been slowly dying since last year, and I feel bad for dragging you all along through my shitstorms. To be honest, several things led to what I'm about to say.

1) College Life/Jobs/IRL Junk : I just really don't have the time to coordinate this.

2) Dramaz : People are upset about the transition from MEP to Contest. I've gotten several very angry e-mails from several members about this, and many rude comments about it. This even was going on in the original format about slow compilations.

3) Bad Coordination : I was too lenient with deadlines. I failed, and I realize it. I failed as a coordinator for this, and I realize that.

So I'm doing this quickly, so I don't drag this out with long, drawn out drama and hate with other members here.

Project Editor is Cancelled for good. I will not have a resurrection of this, and I ask that none of you attempt to either. There's just too much drama, hate and emotion around this project, and it's pretty much done. It was a bad concept to start with, and it was even worsely executed.

Thanks to everyone sticking with me to the end, but it's done. Sorry for wasting your time and your energy.

I'm requesting both threads be deleted, and any comments about this need to be sent to me through PM. I don't want this brought up in any other threads, and I'd like to make this transition with as little pain as possible.

I also hope none of you hate me too much for doing this.

No no, no, no. two drops and some unsettledness doesn't warrant this. For goodness sake at least settle down for a bit and think this through before you go asking mods to delete the threads.

I uploaded my round 2 vid yesterday. The death of PE was very predictable with the recent dramas and I honestly don't expect to ever find out what the scores for round 2 were, not that it really matters. So if anyone cares, is available. This is the version without all the extra stuff like mudkip tubgirl or ghet's really really tiny dick that I threw into the version the judges got.

As a side note, the thread really shouldn't be deleted. It's not spam, insults, offtopic, or whatever although it contains all of that. Locked maybe, but not deleted.

I will cherish the judge's version like the red-headed stepchild I never wanted.

(This is the discussion of a contest so its not off topic no reason to delete.)

Since the contest is closed or w/e, can we at least get the scores for our 2nd round?

[MOD 258: Code said to forward ALL questions to him in PM, to avoid any more drama in the forum. Merged.]
