Using the song "I Kissed a Girl" in a straight relationship.

Postby Maniaxe613 » Mon Oct 19, 2009 8:16 am

I plan to use the song "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry and the video will consist of an entirely straight relationship, but will it work? One of the things that I am concerned about is that one of the lines is, "I hope my boyfriend don't mind it" so if I was doing the song from the point of view from a male character, it would be kind of tricky to have him straight in the entire video.

You could imply a close relationship between the guys, so it takes on a "hos before bros" context.

Do you mean to have the term "boyfriend" to mean "a friend who is a boy"?

You could always do that line from the girl's point of view. |:>

I don't want to, because the girl isn't kissing a girl. She's kissing a guy in a completely straight relationship.

I could remaster the song replacing the line with orgasm sounds if you'd like

I mean as though she's kind of replying to what the guy is singing...

Repeatedly switching perspectives could be pretty cool, if done well.
