This ep just confirmed all the yuri ideas floating in my head..., as well as leaving me with a tear in my eye because of the brutal clifhanger!
Dont die Maria Canaan loooves youuu~! :( (and poor Yunyun she's gotta die too & right after she got her med's) DX
-on a brighter note 70% of the psycho b*tchs are dead

Now if only Alphard would admit to Canaan, that she is Alphards light. *sigh* wishfull thinking
We came we saw...we attempted to kick ass, but in the end we failed, and yes, I'm still in pain.

Now that you mentioned it, Alphard does have the tendency to pin down Canaan a lot and get really, REALLY close to her face! 8-)

So the series is finished and i must say was amazingly well done. I actually enjoyed the last episode fairly well only because it had one thing a lot of animes keep out of the show.
Spoiler :
CLOSURE!

Now i must wait for the movie part series to see the differences they will add into that as well but as a series this is defiantly one of my top favorites.

Last episode = amazing.

Worst parts be this:
Spoiler :
1. Maria survived the explosion that took place in her train-car. That was kind of dumb, but I'm glad she lived.
2. Alphard really lost it and was really Non-Alphardish.

Best parts be this:
Spoiler :
1. Alphard lives. The little boy that passed her brushed her left arm sleeve, but there was no arm inside the sleeve. When the woman stood up, she had long hair that wasn't in a pony-tail, but the same color.
2. The call Canaan received about her next 'target' being a woman with one-arm. Yupyup, totally Alphard. Except the part about her being Canaan's 'target' obviously means they are still enemies.
(Obvious points are obvious.)
3. Canaan put her hair up the way Alphard did. I thought that was just friggin' awesome.

This anime was definitely worth watching. I'm so disappointed it's over... ugh. |:
I'm guessing from the ending that there will be a second season, though.

Ugh, now I have to go watch Bakemonogatari.

I thought the ending was well for what it had to work with, but overall, the show kind of shallow. Lots of things got overdramatized and underexplained, and there were a lot of unnecessary parts. Plus the whole "power of friendship" thing in the last fight was really a bone-killer. Minor characters, such as Yunyun and Liang Qi got overdeveloped, while Canaan and Maria got very little for titular characters, and the other photographer had so little that I can't even remember his name.

The animation is beautiful, and the Opening sequence is sex, but the meat of the show doesn't reflect the same quality.
I give a 7/10.

wow Great final ep! I gotta admit watching Maria live was odd especially after EXPECTING her to die last ep-_-
also How Alphard seemed to have lost her cool was like a major turn off for her! The reason she was so damn cool was because of that calmness of her persona *sigh*
I was so wishing for an Alphard "I'll let you live 'cuz I like you" moment!
But all in all Kick but series, cant wait for the movies, and I hope it gets released in english eventually (thinks about dubbing)

the show felt too 'all over the place' for me. At the end of it im still wondering wtf the story is about, the characters talked a lot, and too much of what they were talking about is just cheesy dialogue that doesn't get enough explanation. Some of the action scenes were great. I give this show a 6.5/10.

oh yeah..............what exactly was Canaan about? What was exactly Alphard's motives? I just realized that I don't really have any clue about the story's plot LOL. I still liked it though. Second season FTW

Very entertaining series. the animation was great and I really liked the characters. I do agree with kireblue that there needed some more explanations, but it was still awesome.

I thougnt the final episode was great. It didn't have too much stuff to wrap up all in one episode, and the ending song was a really nice touch.
CANAAN overall was pretty good: the first and last episode interested me the most.
I lol'd at Cummings in the last episode. XD
