Woah! Plot development?! Trust nobody. And more Yuki X Mikuru :3

There's still a bunch of episodes left, so I'm really curious to see how this is going to turn out. If all goes well, this might rival Evangelion as far as epic anime goes.

You do realize that the episodes left are the s1 eps, right? :P

Doesn't the Sighs arc have to end first? Also, I'm really wondering if they're going to change anything about Episode 00 when the show it after the arc's over, because all the dramatic import of Haruhi's first appearance is kind of gone now that it's no longer the first episode.

Number 14 or whatever the hell you want to call it has arrived and it's oooooover.

Yep, it actually ends (I just watched it I know).

The thing is, it ends, but the ending is in the beginning? or is it the middle, because seen in logical order (as if that term will ever make any sense in this show), the last show preceeds the showing of 00, but by my guess 00 can also be called I think 11 from season 1 (yes it's confusing).

But I do know, that the end of 14 2009 does indeed qualify as a conclusion to 2009, and its ooooover. You'll know what I mean when you watch it.

Season 3, I currently haven't a clue how they will ever make that fly considering the jumbled mess the eps of seasons 1 and 2 are now. That is, if the sales of endless eight have not already effectively killed this show for good in the first place. Man 4 dvds and all the same show, just so you can get a few Sigh arc eps after it.

But it was an interesting ride, and I still really like my Haruhi cloth wall scroll. Of course I do, a cute school girl coming through the image of an opening in the wall beside me is hard to beat :)

Endless Eight kinda dragged on but Sighs felt a bit rushed. They even ended Sighs IV in the middle of a conversation and continued it exactly where they left off at the beginning of Sighs V. I had to rewatch the end of Sighs IV to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Photoshop out the credits and stick the two episodes together and you get one continuous double-length episode. In fact, if you edit out the OP and ED sequences from all the Sighs episodes, you end up with one long Haruhi movie. About them making a movie.

... THAT was the end? Fuucccckkk. : /
There had better be a third season, because there is a lot of plot potential now.

I was a bit disappointed with the way it ended. It felt like there was no real plot progression during this season other than the conversation between Yuki, Itsuki and Mikuru with Kyon in episode 14. I got to admit though, I'm feeling very confuzzled over who is good and who is potentially bad.

All I really want now, is someone to take a stab at ordering the episodes in REAL proper viewing order, one I can actually believe in.

The episodes have been playing in proper viewing order, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah they have, which is good because I never saw the point of airing them out of chronology in the first place.

That's easy: the first and last (broadcast order) episodes of the first season have FAR more impact when viewed in that order.

Okay, chronologically it came way late, and it looked extremely tacked-on because of that (we don't usually have jumping around like that *within* an episode)... but it was kind of nice that they finally gave us the follow-up to the first season's epilogue. I suppose the Sighs arc didn't really have climactic enough of a conclusion by itself...

Also, after going back and watching Episode 00 immediately afterwards, we noticed the following:

1) Kyon's voice sounds noticeably younger in the first season.

2) In the commercial for the model shop: in the first season we see Mikuru reading the cue cards to the right of the camera, and same with picking up the gun; but in the second season, both of these are to the LEFT of the camera. Oops.
