Need advice: Frame by Frame Editing?

Postby Onibakun » Thu Aug 13, 2009 3:21 am

Hi.

I'm new to frame by frame editing but I'm told that it can achieve the effects that I want. My new idea requires some effects that "Skittles" has.

I have a particular scene from an Anime. I just want the CHARACTER out of the scene. How would I approach this using Frame by Frame? (or is there an easier way to achieve this?) Is there a thread perhaps or a guide I can read online?

ALSO: What kind of skills must I learn to achieve the same caliber of "Skittles"? (I'm using this video as a "editing" bar which i wish to reach)

If you want the character out of the scene, you have to mask.

Might be interesting to note:

If you want the character from the scene, then you can either use the masking tool, or use a picture editing program to paint out the background in each frame. It depends if the program you're using supports masking or not.
