AFAIK iTunes' music has something like Microsoft's DRMs in it so you can't just freely use it... you're out of luck. I think that there were and still might be tools that let you convert iTunes' files in a format that's freely usable, but IIRC they weren't completely legal or something... not too sure how things went, but long story short, as of now the best and easiest option is to go out and buy the CD.

You can convert this song with dBpoweramp Music Converter to a .wav file. But if you really plan to make an AMV with this song, it's better to buy the CD.

Hasn't Apple's iTunes Store become an all DRM-free catalog (i.e. iTunes Plus) since April? At any rate, if your music is 256 kbps and the file extension is .m4a, then all you have to do is convert it with a program like dBpoweramp Music Converter like Dasda suggested. Winamp should also work.

If for some reason you have an older 128 kbps .m4p file, then you'll have to burn the song to an audio CD then rip it back.

The DRM-free stuff also costs more. If your just getting one song, it doesn't make much of a difference, but if your buying a bunch of full albums, it starts to add up.

Actually, it doesn't. Technically, anyway. What they did was move to a tiered pricing setup - in reality, I've only seen one or two songs that were at the $1.29 price (which, for those that started using iTunes Plus when it was launched in May 2007, was the price for all Plus tracks back then - but not long after the decision was made to axe the 128kbps DRM'ed versions if there were Plus editions available, at which time everything was dropped to $0.99). I don't think I've seen any that are at the $0.69 price, though.

However, the video purchases can be a mixed bag - many of them, including some of the weekly free videos, are already in Plus format, but others aren't. So for the ones that aren't you'd need the proper decrypter. The only issue there is that the particular version of the program has to match up exactly with the [minor] version of iTunes you're using (although, of course it supports versions of iTunes prior to the version it's matched with).
