Tokko

I was just wondering if anyone here knows if they did a second season of this series or not. The 13 episode ended on such a cliffhanger!

They didn't make a second season because the show was complete shit.
Has to be one of the worst anime I've ever seen.

I have to disagree. I thought it was very good! It had a good plot, and the action was great, also!

lolno

I like how the anime was so bad that they had to add in the word "fuck" to every other conversation in the English dub.
Also, it had to resort to bare tits a few times to maintain the interest level.
Not to mention the red-eyed baby-eating zombies and the "tragedy" that happened in his past. His family dies and he's the only survivor. Why does that sound familiar?

Also, secret division of police fights monsters using swords.
Main character with natural gifts transfers and undergoes training. Reaches godly status.
Special items that are imbedded into people and theres only a limited number of them.
Mary Sue villian.
Mary Sue villian dies at hands of main character after only a slight power up.

Tokko was just plain bad. Just bad.

Well, that is your opinion, but I still like it. It was different that most animes out there, and that's what made it good to me. Don't get me wrong, I do like other animes, like Gundam, Gurren Lagaan, Galaxy Angel, Genshiken, etc., but this one was just different. And being a horror fan is what drew me to this anime. And since I saw it on SciFi (now SyFy, don't get me started one that), the nudity was blurred and the profanity was cut, so I didn't really miss anything. You know, once you've seen one anime girl's boobs, you've pretty much seen them all. So, I still think that is was good.

Get the manga, it should go farther and it's better than the anime.

Yeah, I'm thinking about it. Gives me another manga to read while I try to track down JoJo's Bizarre Adventure #8.

Manga would be good if they'd release more stuff faster gah!

The anime was bleh... I don't hate it, but I can't like recommend spending money on it. [unless you get the $15 box set, I'd spend that on fights and boobage]

Dub was bad? Watch it subbed! not like it gets better though. The dub made it better in my opinion lol...
