sound sort of good i cAN WATCH 720P WITHOUT a hich on my pc.so i was hoping to 1080p edit or watch a less some blu-ray without buying another upgrade.

I never said it couldn't handle 1080p, only that I haven't tested that and don't know anyone who has.

also (just in case), you need a blu-ray drive to play blu-ray disks (won't work with a dvd drive)

That's way more than you'll probably ever use (and it probably costs about $10,000)

Sure it could run anything you throw at it (save for crysis with max settings,) but I wouldn't want to pay the electricity bill for that monster. It would also act as a space heater.

That is way too much
those xeons are priced at $1.3k a pop.
and unless ur getting OCZ Vertexs or Intel X-25Ms for your SSDs, it is an absolute waste.

no one on this entire forum would ever need a rig that powerful for AMV creation or even pure 3d motion graphics.
maybe for work at a professional industry like ILM, but never for home.

keep in mind a rig like that would require a HUGE PSU, be ready for a large increase in your power bill each month.

i had to throw that out there, just in case some noob doesn't come around on this forum and go "ZOMG, THATS WHAT I NEED TO GET, and end up wasting $10k of his/her parents money on overload hardware".
