Importing mp4 to vdub

Postby RatQuiRit » Thu Jun 04, 2009 4:17 pm

Ok I've tried to find a solution on my own for 3 days but trying everything I found on the web didn't help.
The problem is that using vdub (or vdubmod, or vdubmpeg2), I can't open mp4 files, I don't even see them on the directories when I go on "opening file" with vdub.

I've enabled everything that looked like the right codec on VFW settings (mpeg 2, x264, etc) and I've installed the FFDShow plugin which should enable the use of x264 with vdub.

The files still don't show up.

Also, I can't open mkv, but I guess it's not the same problem.

My computer works on Vistaaaaaaa

OH MY, it worked!

My comp is amazingly slow and I'm going to spend hours just to cut the parts of the animes I need, but I guess I can't improve that unless if I work on an other computer.

Thanks Kariudo, I didn't think it would be so simple =)
