AE not showing text D:

so yeah most of the time that i use after effects some text wont show and now i can't see the text for rendering a video so yeah...if anyone can help it would be great

maybe you could show us the timeline.

obvious reasons might be

1) text obscured by another layer?
is the text layer topmost in your comp?
if the text is 3d, is it obscured by another 3d layer in z-space?

2) is the text hiddenfor some reason?
check solo and visibility switches in the comp
check opacity of text layer

3) is the text outside of the viewable comp area?

4) do you have effects or behaviour presets applied to the text that could be affecting its visibility?

5) is the text layer in the correct position in time?

6) are you naked or wearing your mum's sunday shoes?
