pretty sure this can already be acheived through a series of <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... ochsack</a> videos and annotations.
I guess, but
a) I haven't seen it done, and
b) It'd flow a lot smoother if you didn't have to load an entirely new web page to continue the video.
... yea ...

ah good point.
well in any event, the point of my thread was to see if anyone has used flash like i have.
i guess to be more convincing, i'll show some examples of Flash doing some simple effects and demo them here.

i suspect you'll find that pretty much any non-interactive effect you can conjure up will be easily replicated in ae.

does the adobe .flv video format allow interactive flash elements? that'd be pretty interesting for amvs.

actually i was going to use it the other way around.
pretty sure there are a couple non-interactive effects that can be conjured up easier in Flash than AE, simply because tweening is much easier to handle. but again, i'll get back to ya'll on this..

.flv does not. .swf does if done right

I don't see why setting two keyframes in Flash and then tweening them easier than setting two keyframes in AE and essentially having it auto-tween them? (I have used Flash before, but nothing too technical, so I'm sure you know plenty of things that I don't.)
... yea ...

ur taking Flash to be a little too much
Tell that to Adobe; they certainly believe in their platform. In particular, look at Flex and AIR.

I know Flash from a software standpoint wasn't the point of this thread at all, but I had to vent. Sorry.
