certain Dvd's unable to rip properly

Postby kenny_kendall » Fri May 08, 2009 1:28 am

Hey i was wondering whether someone may be able to answer this question
I have trouble ripping some of the dbz anime dvd's. i use dvd to avi converter - using a lossless codec. I am able to rip the dvds that come in seasons e.g. freza saga. however, dvds i buy just on their own, when ripped turn out to blurry when ever there is sudden movement in the animation. its not the dvd i have tried various other dbz dvds which i have bought seperatly

please help!

could you provide screenshots of this blurriness? It may just be interlacing, which is many horizontal lines where the movement is taking place.

Yep, that would be interlacing.
