Last year we started notifying finalists.

There are 2 flags for videos in the system we will use. One just says video accepted. The other is accepted for overflow. Basically if it doesn't say overflow you are a finalist.

This year there will just be a post letting everyone know when we are done and you can go to the web page to find the status of your entry. Like last year I can only say that the post will be coming Duke Nukem Forever style "when it's done."

Our normal process was slowed down this year. A lot of people wanted to submit right on the deadline and because of the ftp move this meant we didn't get them all on 4/20. Since we were unable to begin grading entries on 4/20 we may push the due date back further before con for the first time ever next year. I was hoping to avoid that but it is really a lot easier to handle those drama entries on 4/20 =p. Anywho now that I finally finished coding my roll hack we were able to complete the initial judging.

Video Entry status is now updated on the contest website.

Video Accepted = Finalist
Accepted for Overflow = self-explanatory

For those of you who were hoping this announcement would still be "coming soon Duke Nukem Forever style" I apologize.
