press f1 and try searching for mask, masking, or garbage matte (i think thats right). if you don't find anything come back here, but expect a complicated answer :P

Found some interesting stuff. It will just take some time to tinker around with it. Thanks for giving me the tip. I really have no idea what many of the video effects/transitions do. Do you know of a website/video tutorial that shows me what all of the effects actually are?

Nope sorry... there's a site called creativecow or something simlar that has tutorials on a bunch of software. best thing to do is to just play around with everything and see what happens.

If you have Adobe Photoshop you could use the clone tool to get rid of something like the ship in that picture. Just do that for every frame and your set :up:

nah.. I just take forever cause I edit for like 5 minutes once a month >.>
