It`s not called Toradora on the list. It goes by the english name

Tiger X Dragon

Because Tora means dragon
and Dora is the first part of the transliteration of Dragon which is Doragon.
<Hacchinya> Stirspeare: ambassador of gaysex
<Stirspeare> Hacchinya: God's own ambassador.

While that is what the title springs from, it's not the official title.

A) The series hasn't been licensed in English yet (at least, not according to the License Database, Grand High Licensing List, and ANN).

B) The Wikipedia article is credited under the Japanese publishing name, as is the ANN page, both of which make the same insistence on using the official title in English, and falling back to the official Japanese title when an official English title doesn't exist.

In reference to B, it literally uses the katakana to-ra-do-ra. Yes, the Japanese love their collapsed-word abbreviations, but Toradora! is the name it's published under, not the non-contracted title.
